Volunteers

Volunteers and Scholarships are now filled. Thank you everyone who has volunteered and thank you to everyone who has applied for scholarships.

MEEHU needs Volunteers. You are the people who make MEEHU work. Click on the link above to get started.

We need a few people to make big commitments of 6 or 12 hours during the convention. Those people get big rewards like free admission and free hotel space. Not everyone who applies to the 6 or 12 hour slots will be accepted. When filling out the application, let us know your experience in any area you are volunteering for. That will help us determine your best fit for the convention. We will be interviewing people for the 6 and 12 hour time slots to make sure they are qualified and understand their commitment.

Throughout the convention we will need lots of people to help for shorter times, usually one hour blocks. Those people will be rewarded with our undying gratitude and probably a few fun surprises. The more one hour blocks you cover, the more fun surprises. (Good surprises! Really.) If this interests you, just let us know how you want to help so we can place you in the best slots. We may interview some people for some positions because of the nature of the work.

We will try to accommodate special requests to the best of our ability, but we cannot guarantee all special requests will be fulfilled.

Scholarships

If you’d like to come, but finances are an issue, you can request a scholarship. Scholarships can apply to both reduced/free admission to the Con and possible help with travel, room and board. People interested in scholarships should email hypnomaestro@meehu.org with a detailed note regarding why you’d be a good candidate for a scholarship and what you have to offer the Con if you attend. Please note that we will likely request that scholarship recipients do some volunteering during the Con.
