Northbrook Hilton

MEEHU 3 is again at the Hilton Chicago/Northbrook. The hotel is conveniently located at:

It is just south of I-294 and Willow Road on Milwaukee Avenue (Hwy 21). There is plenty of parking on-site and lots of restaurants close by. There is even a nature preserve across the street for those who want to get outside for a while. It has a swimming pool, hot tub and a sauna. Each room has a mini-refrigerator and microwave. There is no Lacrosse tournament that weekend. No Lacrosse moms.

Other rooms

The hotel is almost completely booked as of June 9, 2016. There are still a few rooms left, but we are running out. For now, please book as described below. If we run out of rooms, we will let you know as soon as we find out.

The 6th through 9th floors of the West Tower will be MEEHU floors. Standard rooms will be assigned on a first come, first serve basis. A limited number of additional rooms on non-exclusive floors will be available at the convention rate when these rooms are filled. Last year the hotel was completely filled, so book early.

Rooms are $92 per night + tax (11%). There is no extra charge for sharing rooms. Like last year, MEEHU is responsible for booking the rooms. To book a room, e-mail us at hypnomaestro@meehu.org with your room request. We will need:

1. The name you will use to book your room (your real name)
2. The names of anyone sharing your room (if you want them to be able to check in without you).
3. The type of room: King or Double
4. Your arrival date
5. Your departure date
6. Any special requests

MEEHU will assign the rooms and give the list to the hotel. You pay for your room upon arrival. We have already reserved the rooms in MEEHU’s name, so you do not need to make a deposit. However, failure to arrive will result in a charge to MEEHU, which we will pass along to you. If you have Hilton Honor Points, you can redeem them when checking in.

Please be advised that while this hotel is aware of the general nature of the event, it is still a regular hotel. There are other events going on that weekend, so discretion and appropriate clothing when outside of the controlled MEEHU areas is a must.

Meeting Rooms

We again have the “A” rooms for our meeting space. Most of the classes will be in the meeting rooms. Some may be on the 10th floor.
