Con Dining Information

Food will be served during the Con – it is included in your registration fee!

Here is a tentative schedule of meals. It is subject to change.

Friday Lunch: You are on your own.

Friday Supper: Pizza party! (With salad and other options.)

Saturday Breakfast: The hotel will provide us a breakfast buffet bar. Please do NOT eat in the regular breakfast buffet bar across from the front desk. We will have our own special buffet.

Saturday Lunch: Sandwiches and vegetarian option, probably sushi from Mitsuwa Marketplace which is awesome.

Saturday Supper: Barbeque Ribs, trimmings, and a taco-salad-bar option for vegetarians.

Sunday Breakfast:  The hotel will provide us a breakfast buffet bar. Please do NOT eat in the regular breakfast buffet bar across from the front desk. We will have our own special buffet.

Sunday Lunch: A salad bar plus possible mystery special yummy option.

Sunday Supper: We will all go out to a restaurant, possibly the German-oriffic Schnitzel Platz which is down the road from the hotel.

Volunteer Opportunities

The Con needs several volunteers to assist with setup, food service, door and registration duty. It’s a great way to meet people, get involved with the Con, and give back to the community.

12 Hours of volunteering will get you free admission to MEEHU. This must include at least 2 hours of door/registration duty. Volunteers also have priority for any available Con-provided sleeping space. If you’d like to volunteer, please email volunteer@meehu.org with your availability (What can you do? What can’t you do?) Thank you!

Scholarships Closed

Please note that MEEHU scholarship applications are now closed. If you put in an application and have not heard, you are still being considered, but no more applications can be accepted.

Please note that there are still Volunteer positions which need filling, and volunteers get free admission in exchange for at least 12 hours of volunteer labor. See the “Volunteer Opportunities” post for more information!

Organizer Change

MEEHU has accepted Marc Cabot’s request to withdraw as one of the con’s primary organizers. While Marc (aka dreamsofcontrol) will still be assisting with logistics and operations, due to other commitments he will not be able to participate in the con’s administration. Inquiries about con-related matters should be directed to HypnoMaestro, Mephki, MissIsis, or HypnoInamorata. Thanks!
